About Platinum Athletics
Our mission
Originally founded in 2014, the program was purchased in 2021 by two Sarasota moms with a shared passion for cheerleading, youth development, and building a strong community. Now entering its 4th season under new ownership, Platinum Athletics has grown into a vibrant, inclusive All Star cheer gym serving athletes and families across Sarasota and the surrounding area.
What started with just a few teams has quickly expanded to five competitive All Star teams, offering opportunities for athletes of all ages and skill levels — from first-time cheerleaders to elite competitors. At Platinum, we emphasize fundamentals, teamwork, confidence, and leadership, all within a positive, family-first environment.
As we continue to grow, one thing remains constant:
