Coach Katie began all-star competitive cheerleading when she was 14 years old in addition to cheering for her high school in Hillsboro, Missouri where she grew up. At age 16 she started coaching all star competitive teams of all ages and levels and has been in love with the sport ever since! During her college years she cheered at Webster University in St. Louis where she graduated with her first Bachelors degree in Biology and recently graduated with her second Bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of South Florida. When she moved to Florida in 2015 she began working for Platinum Athletics and we are thrilled to have her! When not coaching cheer she works for a medical office doing billing and coding. In her free time, you can find her playing music with her band, painting or spending time with her husband and Austrilian Shepard, Goose. Platinum Athletics has been her home away from home for the past 6 years and we are thrilled to have her!
